How itsme came about 

itsme was founded by a group of Belgian banks and telecom operators with a single goal: to make digital identity secure and simple for everyone. What started as a safe way to log in to your bank has grown into a digital identity you use across hundreds of services. Today, millions of people rely on itsme for their digital life, and we’re expanding further in the Netherlands and beyond. 

Built on European standards 

itsme complies with European regulation for electronic identification (eIDAS) and with the privacy regulation (GDPR). itsme is recognised at the highest level of assurance and is ready for eIDAS 2.0 and the European digital identity wallet. So your data and your privacy are always protected, today and in the future.
