You initiate each action
An itsme® action only starts after you have decided to. You click on the itsme® button on the partner’s website and a notification is sent to your app.
Check before each confirmation
Everything you do using itsme® is totally transparent. You can see in the app what data you are sharing, what you are doing and with which partner.
Never without your consent
You can clearly confirm or refuse an itsme® action in the app. Each itsme® action requires a validation from you, followed by your 5 digit secret code. So you stay in control at all times.
What personal data does itsme® process?
itsme® revolves around identity, security and privacy. We adhere to the principle of data minimisation and only collect data that is strictly necessary to provide an optimal service.
The data that we collect explained :
Identity data
This is all the data that identifies you: all the data from your ID card or passport, your phone number and your e-mail address.
Security data
This includes certain technical information from your smartphone or the itsme® app you have installed.
Transaction data
These are all actions you have done with itsme®. This data allows you and the partner to keep track of what you have agreed (time, date, data and purpose).
Your personal archive
Record of itsme® actions
Do you want to know what data you have shared and with whom? You can review all the past actions in the menu of your itsme® app. Search for "My history" in your menu. After confirming with your secret code, you can view details of your itsme® actions.

itsme® takes your privacy and trust very seriously. So we do not collect or request any data that are not strictly necessary. That is why we no longer have any cookies on this website and we only process the data that are necessary to improve your user experience.
